Needle felting is an extraordinarily therapeutic craft and it is really easy to learn the basics. You get the wool into the shape you want such as a ball, and then you stab it multiple times with the barbed needles. The needles push the fibers together felting them into place and creating a solid piece. You can then add details and join pieces as one all using the felting needles (no sewing!) Like magic!
